The idea behind this piece was to make a collage, then from the collage turn it into a painting, add subtract into the painting from the collage. I chose sport images. The college logos represents the SECs championships. The helmets with the chains depicts the lockout of the NFL and the guy with the Christmas hat depicts when the NBA had a lockout and started on Christmas. The middle is the baseball field with Texas and St. Louis, the two that played in the World Series that year.
